Friday 23rd April 3:00pm. A Novel Approach to Live Cell Imaging Using Simultaneous Stimulation on the Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope FV1000by Mr Katashi Ishihara Senior Supervisor International Marketing, Bioscience Division, Olympus, Japan. |
|
The dual scanning capability of newly introduced FV1000 confocal sheds a 'new light' on live cell imaging by the ability to have simultaneous stimulation and observation. Examples of how these capabilities affect imaging techniques such as FRAP, caged compounds and PA-GFP/Kaede proteins are presented. The effect of spectral resolution on un-mixing of spectrally closely matched fluorophores is also presented. Download the presentation Poster |
